Overview

As a Senior Designer working on Google Cloud Monitoring, a core part of my job is to help my cross-functional teammates to think about problems in a user-centered way. In the Fall of 2022, two UX Researchers and I developed a plan to socialize a Jobs To Be Done framework backed by hours of user interviews to the broader Google Cloud Operations team. If successful, this framework could help to foster more user-centered thinking and outcome-driven innovation in our products.

My role

I am the Lead UX Designer on the Jobs To Be Done effort. I have partnered with two Senior UX Researchers to develop the framework, and we are collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and leadership to socialize and adopt the framework into our standard practices.
